Privacy, in plain English
What we collect. Your email address, your alert preferences (food categories, allergens, state, alert level), and optionally your first name. That's the complete list.
Where it lives. With our email service provider (Mailjet), which handles storage, sending, and unsubscribes. Safer Pantry's own systems store no personal information at all — only public government recall data.
What we do with it. Match recall notices to your preferences, and understand our audience in aggregate (for example, what share of subscribers have young children's food on their list). Aggregate means numbers about groups — never anything about you individually.
What we never do. Sell your information. Share it with advertisers or data brokers. Ask for your address, phone number, birthday, or anything about your health beyond the allergen checkboxes you choose to tick.
Leaving. Click unsubscribe in any email and alerts stop immediately. To have your record fully deleted from our email provider, reply to any alert or write to contact@saferpantry.com and we'll confirm deletion within 30 days.
Cookies. The site sets no tracking cookies. Our signup form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots, which may set a strictly functional cookie of its own.
Who we are. Safer Pantry is operated by Macronova LLC, 2108 N St STE N, Sacramento, CA 95816. (This same address appears in the footer of our emails, as U.S. anti-spam law requires; Mailjet inserts it automatically once configured.)
